Clinical pharmacy, also known as hospital pharmacy, is a specialty that focuses on monitoring patient therapy within the hospital setting, particularly with regard to medication dosing, while taking into consideration the patient’s age, gender, health condition, and the presence of comorbidities such as kidney or liver diseases, as well as ensuring proper dose adjustment.
